Linking Favourites folder

Not sure wether this is an IE or OS question, but here goes.

I have a whole tree of Favourite folders that contains many links to webpages, which I would like to share with other users on my network.

I really want the folder to be stored on the server (as always running) and for all users to have a link from their 'favourites' on the IE menu bar. Everybody needs to be able to update and add links.

I have tried using a shortcut but this just is a link into the centrally stored folder, and although you can get to the link you want this way, I would much prefer it if it was a simple tree structure off the 'favourites' IE menu.

I am guessing I need to be able to link the centrally stored folder into my favourites folder somehow ... but dont kno how / if this can be done ?

Using Windows 2000 Pro as the OS.
