I am running Vista Home Premium with 3Gb memory. I recently installed Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 and allocated 2Gb of memory to it during the installation in order that I could try out Windows 7. I didn't get on with Virtual PC so I uninstalled it. Now when I start up my PC the BIOS flash screen only shows 1024Mb of memory. The performance Tab in Task Manager shows 2430Mb of physical memory and (about) 1466Mb cached with 5Mb free. How do I recover the 2Gb of 'lost' memory so that the full 3Gb shows up in the BIOS flash screen again and is available for use, please?
