I decided to have a second hard drive/disk to my PC.
In the process my purposely formated my original hard disk which was running WIN98 for sometime.
My new hard disk is installed with WINDOWS 2000 professional.
I have configured my new hard disk has the primary and the old hard disk has secondary.
my problem is after the POST i am seeing this BLUE SCREEN with a STOP ERROR message and asking me to restart the PC if this is the first time i have seen this message.
I have done that & same results.
Please someone help.

If you install the operating system first you have to set in the hard disk your machine, cause every pc not twin, another vga, another chipset,etc...got it?
If you use a computer and want to install a new op system set the hard disk in and install the system.

Yeah, as said in the above post, you cannot install it somewhere else and use in your pc, it'll cause configuration mismatch problems leading to a BSOD(Blue Screen Of Death as you are referring to)...Backup any important data and install a fresh copy of windows ELSE uninstall all drivers you manually installed in this OS on that(the other) pc and freshly reinstall all drivers (e.g. Display, sound,etc..)
Hopefully doing the driver stuff should sort things, if it doesn't then you'll have to format and reinstall..
