Hi,
A few days ago, I started having several problems: IE usually won't open. On the rare occassion that I get it to work, my computer shuts down randomly. Also, Outlook is behaving strangely (freezing up constantly) and the general speed of my computer is much slower than before.
I've run virus and adware scans, but nothing shows up as a threat. Below are the logs from my last Malwarebytes scan and Hijackthis. Am I missing something, or am I experiencing a problem unrelated to malware or spyware? Thanks in advance for any help.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see a file called mst122.dll in the system32 folder.

Also, noticed today that my volume control no longer appears on the taskbar. In Control Panel, it won't let me add it because it says it has not been installed. Additionally, Ad-Aware is shutting down unexpectedly at random times.
I don't know if these problems are relevant, but I thought they might be worth mentioning since they have just popped up.

Neither jotti or virustotal allows me to copy and paste in the window. Both require me to browse for files. Just to double-check, this is the file you want me to scan:

There is no file in the system32 folder by that name (and there are no hidden files on my computer).

There are hidden files on every computer. Do you mean that you have changed the settings to reveal them?

Yes. I enabled the viewing of all hidden files per Philliefan's pushpinned post at the top of this forum.

Please download ComboFix by sUBs from HERE or HERE

• You must download it to and run it from your Desktop
• Physically disconnect from the internet.
• Now STOP all your monitoring programs (Antivirus/Antispyware, Guards and Shields) as they could easily interfere with ComboFix.
• Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
• When finished, it will produce a log. Please save that log to post in your next reply along with a fresh HJT log
• Re-enable all the programs that were disabled during the running of ComboFix..

Note:
Do not mouse-click combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

CF disconnects your machine from the internet. The connection is automatically restored before CF completes its run. If CF runs into difficulty and terminates prematurely, the connection can be manually restored by restarting your machine.

Run Combofix ONCE only!!

Sorry for the delay in replying, but my computer pretty much refused to let me access anything. I gave up, saved my personal documents, formatted the C drive and started over.
I was hoping to avoid the whole formatting process, but I finally bit the bullet.
