Can anyone think of a reason why my Insprion 8600 won't restart as long as there a external hdd plugged in? I hangs during the boot-up sequence. If I power off the laptop and power it back on (after unplugging the external hdd) it starts right up.
I'm trying to migrate my current internal hdd to a larger/ faster hdd via a USB case. I'm using Acronis to image/clone the old hdd.
