best backup software?

Hi all! And what a wonderful day it is!
I'm looking for a half decent backup software to automatically backup files new from one hard disk to my external drive when I plug it in.
Tried google but this is my last resort. Any one have any ideas?
On mac it's easy, so wondering what PC software there is available.
