I like the topics that you are covering, I am a techie myself, therefore suitable audiance. Overall first impression is good. Few tips how to change it for the better:
1) Bookmarking section takes too much space. Since you are techie as well, make it smaller size and one line, you can pick up those widgets on the web easily.
2) To make it really appealing, find a web designer to make a nicer banner style picture on the top, perhaps using the same idea, but just to make it top-notch.
3) Make the "comments" section more visible to the readers.

The site looks simple and clear. Try to use some other different colors in it, looks fully green color and also the images are loading little bit slow, check it out..
