Heh.. as noted above me, 10.5 doesn't exist.

Do you mean 10.4? Do you have 10.3 or 10.2?

i have 10.3, thats odd maybe it did say 10.4, but i went to check updates the other day and i coulda swore it said 10.5, oh well lemme refrase the question then, is it worth it to upgrade to 10.4?

Since 10.4 hasn't been released yet, that will be a very hard question to answer.

It's possible that what he means is that he has 10.3.3, and should he update to 10.3.5, and the answer is a resounding "yes." In fact, he should update to 10.3.8, which I believe is the latest Panther. If he's connected, he should go to System Preferences -> Software Uptdate -> Check Now and just do it.

As you say, 10.4 (Tiger) hasn't been released yet, except to Beta testers and their friends.
