We are looking for 1 developer and 1 designer (or 1 developer/designer if there is someone with both skillsets) to work with us on a part time basis for an extended period of 6-9 months.
Preference is for someone who is working on his/her own as a freelancer or business and is motivated to keep working over the period.
Skillsets:
Developer
PHP development using Kohana framework
Javascript (YUI)
Web Designer:
Web graphic creation
Knowledge or can integrate with frontend development
CSS, grids (YUI grids)
The objective is to develop a platform based on Kohana and 1 or 2 prototype products based on this platform.
The product will likely be open sourced. The goal for us is to kickstart and fund part of the the initial development and develop the business proposition around it.
Note that is is a paid work although the amount is negotiable and depending on the commitment. We do not ask for 100% of your time but there will be milestones to be agree upon.
If you are interested, please tell us more about yourself (what you are doing for a living, portfolio if any, example of using Kohana in your projects, plans in next 1-2 years, etc.) . We like to open up a line of communication and start communicating with you.
