Hello Michelle,

There are thousands of companies reselling merchant accounts, and picking the right company can be tricky. Truth is, there are only a handful of merchant account providers that provide Visa/MC services. BTW - Discover and Amex are not resold - you must apply directly to accept them. The largest Visa/MC processors are: First Data/Nashville/Paymentech Platform, Nova, Vital, and a few other little ones. The lowest rate I've found is 1.99% non-swipe (card not present, ie mail order and net transactions) via Nova through Costco. Plus a ten cent transaction fee, and 10 dollar monthly payment fee. Paypal is MUCH MUCH higher, almost twice the rate, thus it makes sense to accept payments directly through a merchant account.

I found a merchant account ages ago.

I only deal w/ companies that can get my clients (escorts & escort agencies, merchant accounts at reasonable rates).
