I regularly submit and re-submit my sites to the search engines even though I know the SEs will find the site and index it. Does anyone have an opinion on proactively submitting and resubmitting sites to the search engines and if so, what is a good time frame for resubmitting?

Hi,
If your website is already indexed then I don't think resubmitting into SE do some good!!

at first i believe that resubmitting your site in SE will do nothing to your page. but when i experienced sandbox in my blog. waht i do is resubmit my URl to SE then the next day i retrieved all my lost PR and backlinks.IMO resubmitting your site in SE is not that bad at all you are just assuring that SE are alwys crawling your site
