http://www.rndinternet.co.uk
My self and a friend have been working on this site for the last day or so, we are happy with the direction, although there are a few more things to be added soon.
http://www.rndinternet.co.uk
The old look site can be found here for the next couple of weeks:
http://www.rndinternet.co.uk/OLD
The site will see the addition of a forum at some point over the weekend, for now most of the content is static.
I would appreciate any comments.
thanks
Dave

The header is unique and I like it, if it wasn't for the big white space. I'd fill that up somehow, or at least let it take less space.
The left column is really good, nice menu. Nice little icon and subtle text; professionally done.
The text/content of the site is in too big a font for me, but as I am visually disabled; I can actually appriciate that.
The images in the text could use a css border around them to make them 'tight' and look professional. I think that would look more pro then the blurry effect which makes them float, rather then be in a spot. I'd also spend some pixels on margin & padding for the <divs> (paragraphs) so images aren't sticky to text.
I like the contact form, it looks fitting to the site.
To be honest, as it looks nice I get the impression this is a concept-draft a webmaster shows to the owner of a company to give an impression of what the site may become. Rather then a final version, but.. it is good enough as it is and an improvement over the old version.

Site looks nice and clean. I would agree with Floris, the white space above should have some form of content. The blank white space is some of the most valuable real-estate on your site, because the eyes tend to focus on the top half of the page (above the fold). Also, you might want to focus on spacing in your body. Some of the paragraphs are not separated, while others are. In sum, good work and SEO friendly!
