So I have been still working on this laptop

and now I relized after taking everything apart that the lcd screen is indeed to culprit for this high pitch annoying sound thats constant.

First off I ordered an inverter because the goes blank shortly after it boots up into windows.

And now I realized the lcd is screaming. Any ideas as what is the next step?

Also the noise is worse when I unplug the power cable and it just runs on battery.

I know the battery is pretty much dead so that might be why it changes. But I'm wondering if this is strictly a lcd issue or maybe a power issue as well.

Ok well sounds like it is the inverter itself.

So lets hope thats all I need to replace

I don't need to solder this do I?
