Somehow IE isn't working.

I usually use Firefox but IE has to open with certain stuff, like when I check my emails with MSN. But since a couple of days IE stopped working. It opens but the page stays blank, its trying to load but takes forever and never actually opens. I tried reinstalling IE but it doesnt want to reinstall, it says I already have a higher version of IE. Anyone know what the problem is?

I have Windows XP Pro SP2

Do you use IE at all? Would you prefer just to remove IE or make it not the "chosen" (couldnt think of the word)?

Ranxston, you will need to keep IE for your Windows Updates, if nothing else.

You can try IEFix from here:

And Winsockfix from here:

Did the problem start after you got SP2?
