Hi,
I'm running Windows Server 2003 R2 on one of my machines that's always opened. I have ftp on it and everything works fine except that I'd like to find a way to redirect my IP from a domain name.
So that instead of typing ftp://xx.xx.xx.xx i could just type ftp://whatever.domain.com
If anyone suggests good websites for that?
Thanks !
Phil

You need a Dynamic DNS (DDNS) service, and a DDNS client on your server. I use www.changeip.com for this, but there are many such services.
I use a commercial DDNS client because it is reliable and runs as a service - $35 for a personal edition. www.directupdate.net
