I'm trying to create a website to help people find jobs, basically monster.com's search capability for helping people in Bangladesh. If someone can help in how to set up a seach for different occupations, more favorably if someone can break down the keywords needed in a search such as cook,cooker,cooking=chefs and auto repair,cars,auto=mechanic etc. that would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you learn some SQL. You can get a start here. I'm sure if you make a post in the databases section, someone there will have other sources of knowledge to point you to.
