I flashed a wrt54g from version 8.00.00 to version 8.00.06 and now I cannot operate all the pages in the web utility for the router. I cannot access the administration tab(to reset defaults or re-flash), I can't access the wireless page(to enable security). I can ping the router, surf the internet with a wired connection and there is no problem.
What I am trying to do is reset the router back to the original firmware which I dl'ed from linksys. I am trying the tftp within windows, tftp apps from linksys, router tools program and I always get the same result. a timed out error. no response from router. I have reset the router repeatedly and have also disable any AV and firewall programs and still the same results.
I need help, and any would be appreciated. (ps. the router is not under warranty, i tried talking to linksys already)
