Enable hard Drive

Hi, I was hoping maybe someone can help me out. Without even knowing how, I think I disabled my secondary hard drive and can't seem to get it back. It doesn't appear in "My Computer" anymore. I attempted a system restore, but a notification popped up saying "changes made to drive x: after this point cannot be reversed because the drive was either excluded from system restore monitoring, or was turned off or removed." I did not go through with the system restore after reading this. I am hoping this means it still recognizes the drive, hence it should still exist with all my files still intact. How can I gain access to it again? Thanks to anyone who can help.

FIrst of all..
On Startup does your Bios/CMOS see a drive in the system?

Hit pause if things are going by too quickly or go into bios setup and verify that the drive shows up there.

More info like what OS, or drive it is would also help.
