IE opens on startup, cant stop it!!!

For some reason internet explorer keeps on opening on start-up. Now, at first I thought nothing of it as the internet is the first thing I go for when I log on but now im not so sure. I have removed it from the start menu as everyone I've asked has said that but to no avail. Me thinks it might be to do with a virus I had "w32.spybot.worm." Any help/info would be greatly appreciated as this problem is just really annoying.

Hi jayboy,

The following two entries in your log are responsible for IE starting automatically when Windows starts:

There are also a couple of other things in the log which should be cleaned up, but first:

Make sure that Internet Explorer is not running, run HJT again, and have it fix:

Although your log currently shows no signs of malicious infections, if the IE "Run" entries in HijackThis automagically reappear at some point, I'd start suspecting foul play.
