The subject pretty much says it all. Does anyone know how to get Safari to print the url? Or where I need to go to get this done? I suspect that some one previously turned it off because at one time the print out did have the url on it.

I suppose you'd like the actual URL of the web page in question, printed at the bottom of the paper copy, such as you get from printing from Internet Explorer 5.2.

It's true that Safari 1.3 does not do this. There may be a way (a hack?) to make Safari 2.0 print the URLs. I understand you can choose "Send This Page To A Friend" to include the URL in a printable email, but I haven't actually tried it.

This hint may or may not work with new versions of Safari:
