Have a T61 Thinkpad running XP Pro and a Blackberry 8330 (Verizon). I've been trying to pair them via Bluetooth so I can use Blackberry Desktop to synch Outlook as well as use the BB as a cordless modem. I can get both to see each other (they correctly identify the other device) but when prompted for a security code they time out. I've tried no code, 1-digit codes, etc. But nothing works. With other Bluetooth devices I've hooked up (not to this Thinkpad) the computer usually provided the security code. In Windows there is just an empty field and then you click pair devices. Same goes on the BB. It finds the device and then you get a window prompting for the security code.
