I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong spot, this is a first time for me.
My wireless computer is connected to the internet but I can't update the virus definitions in my anti-virus program. I've tried downloading a different anti-virus program but I can't get to the websites. The wired computer has no problems. I'm using a linksys wireless router. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong? Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Do you get an error message?
This problem is typical of some Spyware infections.
Try Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:

The error message that I got when I was trying to update the antivirus programs was just that I wasn't connected to the internet.

Do you have a firewall installed? My firewall once blocked my anti virus program, try looking to see if internet or server connection is blocked/denied access.
