Im trying to start one but I can't get the code.

hey thanks for the help. I have the Dreamweaver program, and am opening the files with it but how do I make it "work"?

Most - phpBB (free), vBulletin (what DaniWeb uses), and Invision - are php based. vBulletin uses a MySQL database. phpBB defaults to MySQL but to the best of my knowledge includes compatibility with numerous databases.

You will need a linux web server with PHP and MySQL to run it.
