"Server busy" and adware when connecting to cstrike server

This has been really getting on my nerves recently. Now and again when I connect to a counter-strike server, a "server busy" windows dialog box will pop up, forcing cs to minimize. I click "switch-to" for about 25-30 seconds, and some adware pops up. I close the adware, open cs and fps is now down to almost unplayable.

I have scanned with Ad-Aware, spybot, AVG and Microsoft anti-spyware, cleared absolutley everything out, restarted and the problem persists :/

Any ideas?

Close all browser windows, 'Scan and Save Log' with hijackthis, and post the log here so we can see what's going on with your system.

You have a few things there that should be cleaned up, but before doing so you should move HijackThis into it's own permanent folder instead of the Temp folder it's in now (something like c:\HJT\hijackthis.exe or c:\hijackthis\hijackthis.exe would be good). That way the program, and the backups it will create, will be safe from deletion when we clean out your temp folders.

After you move it, close all browser windows (including Firefox), scan with HJT, and post a new log please.

We'll need to unload Spybot's Teatimer before we begin. To do this, right-click on the icon in the quick launch toolbar at the bottom of the screen, then select "Exit".

Go to www.trendmicro.com, and then:

1. Click "Free Online Scan".
2. Click "Scan now, it's free".

It'll take a few minutes to download (especially with a dialup connection), so be patient. When it's down:

1. Select all available drives.
2. Check(tick) "Auto Clean".
3. Click "Scan".

When it completes, post back the full filename of any files that cannot be cleaned or deleted.

Run the PurityScan uninstaller.

Now, let's open a command prompt by going to the start menu and then select 'Run'.

In the box that pops up type in 'cmd'. The command prompt will open.

You can go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt. Unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

regsvr32 /u ohu.dll

It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save typing them in.

Did you run the Purityscan uninstaller? There is still an entry there that indicates it is still on your PC.
Go to your Control Panel and double click on the Java icon. When it opens hit the cache Tab and delete the contents. Close out of it.

We will have to disable Spybot's Tea-Timer again. This time start Spybot and go to Tools > Resident and uncheck the box next to Tea-Timer. Make sure that the icon in the system tray is no longer there. Do not forget to re-enable it when we are done .

Run the PurityScan uninstaller.

Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows and hit the "Fix checked" button.

Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows and hit the "Fix checked" button.
