Hot-Key Shocker
![]() |
I don’t know about you but I’m a keyboard kind a guy, and I use my mouse for scrolling web pages and that’s about it. Well this morning I was editing this very blog, and I was using the keyboard editing shortcut CTRL+LeftCursor to move the cursor one word at a time when suddenly…..My entire desktop flipped 90 degrees clockwise…”What the???” The rest of the office started peering over there own monitors at the weird cranium gymnastics going on at my desk.
It appears that certain graphics cards have this rotational ability, and that a hot-key combination of CTRL+ALT+CursorKey could flip my desktop to all points of the compass (I must have accidentally hit the ALT key also) . I am a great believer that computers are supposed to aid productivity. In this case however, it did exactly the opposite….Well you try Googling for the solution with your head cranked at 90 degrees !!
