Yeah, everything seems to be working fine.
BTW, NTL Medic is a program for NTL customers that I just installed today. You can get it from the NTLworld.com website. It runs some standard connection tests on your pc, and lets you talk to support staff if the tests don't work. So it could be a good suggestion for other NTL users, who have connection problems like this. The standard tests didn't work for me, so a tech girl talked me through what to do until she figured it out.
Again thanks for the help. This was quite a serious one for me, as the site I could'nt reach is work related.

Yeah, I had a good idea of what the program did, I just meant that I'd never actually used it. I can't, for that matter- we Californians don't even have NTL.
