sending ajax response form struts2 action class

Hi all,

this is mohan started working recently on ajax with struts2 framework.
I can able to make a ajax request to an struts2 action class.But in the response I am getting the whole jsp page as a response mentioned in the result tag in struts.xml file.But I need only the partial data like array or list etc from the action class.

Please help me as soon as possible as I got struck up there.

some code will be really useful.
I am guessing that in the class your are most likely sending the entire file.

Even I am having same problem. Did you find solution for this problem? I have not done any modification to struts.xml, do I need to do so???
