How network+ parellel with MCSE help me?

Net+ is more of an introduction to basic networking concepts such as cabling. media, topolgies, devices and protocols. Net+ focus is on how these things work. It is a good first course to lead into the rest of the material if you are not too network savy. Microsoft offers a course(2151 on the win2k track) that is pretty much covers the same material as net+.
I've used exam cram 2 series of books to study for my exams. The books are pretty much exam info only, no extra fluff.
