Remote access to application in Vista

Looking to allow a user to access a single application remotely... not the entire desktop. Is there some modification that can be configured. Ideally I would like to allow different trusted users to access installed app(s) that I select. What are my options and what exploits am I exposing myself to? Guidance sought.

mnewsome you can use Citrix XenApp to publish the applications on the web so that others can access the applications remotely without exposing the whole system.

Much thanks for the timely reply... Much more costly than the issue is worth. Any other thoughts?

mnewsome, if you want a free alternative to citrix, you can go for 2X or if you're using Linux, you can try out nomachine. Also tell me about your experiences.
