Does anyone know the status of Facebook stopping the use of member photos in ads? The few times I have been on in the last few weeks I have noticed some of my friends photos still popping up in ads.

Settings > Privacy > News Feed and Wall > Facebook Ads
I believe you can opt-out

Hi there
I wouldnt pay for it and not many people would, besides charging people for something always causes other unforseen problems (chargebacks, fraud etc)
Not worth the hassle, better to find other ways to display ads effectively without annoying people !

Thanks. I have will and will also advise my friends to do so also. It really should be an opt-in situation where the people who do get some sort of compensation for the use of their image. That is how they handle it on TV reality shows like Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. If the person does not sign the waiver their face is pixilated out.
