Tell me what you guys think of this layout?

Dont mind all the heys going down the page. I pre-loaded all the images so it should load fairly fast on multiple browsers (IE, Netscape/Firefox). Instead of having animated gif's like I used to I have gone back to text based rollovers through css. This is just a start to a new site that i am constructing but i want some input on the font at the top and maybe the overall environment.

can you increase the height of your menu bar slightly?
if it's done in css then the line-height command might help.

changed it to look more like a menu bar. It is not completely in CSS. The menubar is edited using Photoshop, hence the transparentcy. I only have control over the links/rollevers in CSS. There is only 3 images on the page so when your browser loads them it should take no time at all, plus they are pre-loaded into the browser.

your site looks good, but there's nothing on the bottom of the intro page....did you want that to remain blank or are you going to put something there?

I am going to eventually put something there.

Just learned how to do the javascript for getting the date. Also learned onMouseOver, and onClick. If your browser blocks pop ups there is also a pop up i tested, another javascript feature.

added a cgi form. The only way to view it is if you enter the page and see the pop up or you click on the link, because your browser, or firewall, wont permit pop up ads. Comments are welcome on the form.
