Diwali - The festival of lights. Diwali or Deepavali is a significant festival in Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism, and an official holiday in India. They light diyas cotton string wicks inserted in small clay pots filled with oil to signify victory of good over the evil within an individual.

Diwali is the abbreviation of the Sanskrit word "Deepavali" - Deepa meaning light and Avali, meaning a row. It means a row of lights and indeed illumination forms its main attraction.

May the festival of lights be the harbinger of joy and prosperity. As the holy occasion of Diwali is here and the atmosphere is filled with the spirit of mirth and love, here's hoping this festival of beauty brings your way, bright sparkles of contentment, that stay with you through the days ahead.

Best wishes on Diwali and New year.
