Hi

I'm running XP, on a Dell dimension 3100. Accidentally deleted the sound mixer app when clearing out unwanted stuff in my accessories folder - I've been to add/remove programs>add windows components, and tried to reinstall it but it then asks me for the xp disc which I no longer have.

Can't find anything on the internet to fix this problem.

Anybody have any ideas,

you can do one thing. system restore. I don't know you get benifit from it. but try it from Accessories>system tools>system restore. from here you can go back before that date when you did it.
