HI,

Currently i'm on-hand on an assignment for create a software prototype for a new system. This system is mainly develop to which replace the existing driving instructor in the near future. So it request some sort of programming langauge/code/hardware to compiler all system. Text instruction, icon, image, amination, video, map, user login, database, final result all needs to be including in the system.

I'm not the professional programmer. I have learned some programming languages like C, VB, Java& JavaScript. Basically, i wonder which programming language should i choose for the system since it quite a complex combination?

Does any one's have a good recommendation which pogram language is suit to code for this new system? Pls dont mind to recommend a bk if you thrg it's a good practise for it.

Thanks.

Best Regards

You're probably going to want to use C. Since it can be low level or high level. I don't know of any books on the subject though.

Fiyona,

I don't want to get on your case, but would it be too hard to "Preview" what you've written before you submit? We all make spelling and grammatical errors (God knows I do), but you've just about breached the threshold between comprehensible and incomprehensible.

If English is not your first language (which seems to be the case, here) it's extra important for you to be as clear and articulate as possible. In other words, "Help us, Help you"

Tim,

Thanks for your commend. I'll improve it and hope it will come better in future instead of "too hard to preview". ==="No error, No improvement".

Hi,
Before I tell you which one to choose, let me tell you one thing. You can design any tool with any language, provided you have the enough resoursces and time.
You can choose 'C' language , as you can do anything with this language. But not many resources are available with it, how ever you can create them. There are various books to read , but i feel forums like this is the best place and you can take any book you want. Because you will be basically looking for syntax and to find what tools are available in it.
You can choose 'Java', as it comes with so many built in functions , which will be very handy to use and you can also save a lot of time. But java is like implementing OOP's, creating objects and all that stuff, which might look comlex if you are not comfortable.

Bottom line is , you can choose either C or Java, which ever you feel confortable. Incase if you have any double just come with your questions in the language and how to approach for the solution.

Vijay.
