Job Description
Energy Results is a growing company with an exciting, entrepreneurial culture. We are looking for a Multi-Talented Web Developer, who can execute upon a wide range of web development needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the company’s founders to continue to build our innovative and exciting web-centric business.

The Multi-Talented Web Developer will be actively involved in ongoing website development and management, including e-commerce management, building basic analytical tool, and execution of online communications, (e.g. social media initiatives, company’s website and other online campaigns)

We are looking for an individual who possesses not only strong web development skills but also has a passion and interest in being involved in strategic business decisions that contribute to the company’s continued growth.

Daily activities of the Multi-Talented Web Developer will include:
- Taking a leadership role in ongoing maintenance of the company’s innovative, integrated web-based portal, which includes:

o Interactive analytical/educational tools,

o E-Commerce/E-Service capabilities

o Integrated back-office system (accounting, billing, etc.)

o Corporate IT platform
- Building additional educational and analytical tools, which allow users to compare relative attractiveness of energy saving alternatives
- Ensure reliability of E-Commerce and E-Service processes and continue to develop new offerings, including working with vendors and partners to complete seamless
e-commerce integration
- Collaborate and execute upon ongoing web-based marketing initiatives that may include social media based or other online initiatives
- Adding basic back-office tools to help with management and reporting
- Active involvement in the website design and layout:

o Continue to develop creative concepts to design and build user-friendly and appealing user interfaces and ensure visual design communicates and functions successfully

o Ensure that website is accessible, logical and easy to navigate
- General Site maintenance and development will include both “front-end” (design and architecture) and “back-end” (programming, coding and process development) tasks

Ideal Applicant Profile:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Significant experience in web-based content development and integration
- A track record in the successful development of customer-focused internet applications. Ability to show samples is a must
- Interest in being part of an entrepreneurial culture
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at once and see them to completion
- Ability to think critically, creatively and strategically to problem solve and recommend the best course of action to achieve objectives
- Ability to translate corporate vision into web/graphic design and process development
- Energetic and eager to take on new challenges and tasks
- A great teammate; someone who enjoys having fun, working hard and helping to create something great

Technical Skills:
- Expert-level knowledge of PHP, MySQL JS, CSS/XHTML, AJAX and cross-platform/browser compatibility
- Experience with web 2.0 API’s (Prototype, Scriptulous, YUI, etc.) is necessary
- Significant experience with OS/Commerce
- Comfort with database design and management (Apache and MySQL)
- Experience with “back-end” integration of enterprise accounting tools
- Experience with social media based marketing initiatives is a plus
