Dell Inspiron 1150 won't power on

Its dead. Had no problems then this morning attemtped to power the system up and nothing. Any ideas?

Fell? Banged up against anything? Making any type of distinctive grindng noises (do laptops even do that?)

nothing. No mishandling, nothing spilled. Just refuses to power on. No green lights nothing. Even the Netgear card won't come on. The power cord's green light does come on though.
