when i switch on my comp an alarm sounds for a few minutes - sometimes when i log on, sometimes before, and i cant get rid of it , i tried to go to the settings but 'rundll32exe' cannot be found so i cannot find nor remove the problem or any other programme. I hope someone out there can help , thanks.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps: 1. Put the Windows XP CD ROM disk in the CD ROM drive.
2. Click Start, and then click Run.
3. Type expand X:\i386\rundll32.ex_ c:\windows\rundll32.exe in the Open box, where X is the letter of your CD ROM Drive.
4. Restart the computer.

Or dont know if this will work
But i Extracted the Rundll32.ex_ and some other Rundll in a ZIP file also
if you dont have the CD im guess this will work
