Keystroke logger infection

I recently discovered that I was infected with a keyboard logger called "second sight" and have no idea when the infection occurred or who did it. I am aware of the many ways to remove logger, but I really want to find the culprit and the date of infection before I remove the program.

Does anyone know of a good softward program that can help me track down as much information about the culprit and the date and nature of the infection before I remove the logger? If there is no such software available, does anyone have suggestion on how I might track this down myself by "clues" that might be residing in my computer?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

What OS are you using? Do you have Event Viewer available?
