I need some computer help.

The other day my gf was on my computer and it shut down so she wait a few minutes and tried to restart it and it started but the win xp screen comes up and then restarts. I've tried to get in to safe mode to run antivirus software but it just reboots. does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi gary,
Could be caused by virus.
If you can use your boot disk to start the computer..then..
get a DOS based anti-virus to check your computer.
If problem is not found then..
There's only 2 options left..
either a Win XP OS problem (you may have to re-install Win XP-) OR
a hardware problem (check my website for help).
