Safari RSS

Bah my title was "bad" but so what?
Has anyone been disappointed with Safari? I've always had trouble with it slowing down over time and now with Safari RSS and Tiger it's not gotten better, but worse. It can randomly take way more processor than it needs and I get beachballed frequently.
This is one program where I have not seen improvements. Any thoughts anyone?
