Hi,
My neighbor has asked me to help her with getting her computer running. She is running a Dell (approx 3 years old). She installed a new disk she received in the mail that was supposed to upgrade her internet connections. It is from a well known widely used provider.
After installing the disk she could not get into the internet. I worked through that problem, however now she is getting the blue background error page. The content follows:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer

When I clicked on details of report they inquired about sending to Microsoft it said

From what I have read from other questions I believe we may need to completely reload the windows after saving all her personal info. Is this correct.

Again people people dont download free softwares,unless your sure what and how it works somewhat.
Try going to your internet connection settings remove the network adapters all of them.
restart your computer when it detects the modem etc re-install the correct adapters.
The well known provider often installs drivers that have been known to cause problems with other adapters and hi-jacks computers,big brother money-opolies.
It isnt enough for them to provide a paid for service,they also hi-jack your computer to sell information to other greedy partners.
