Just thought I'd say I renewed my license and got vB3. Is there any way you'd be able to help now? I haven't yet upgraded (I'm using 2.3.4 now) since I'd like to wait until I know I'd be able to use my skins. Thanks.

Check out www.vbulletin.org and then go to the Portal Software subforum. Currently, vB3 supports vBIndex and vBAdvanced. vBIndex seems to be more robust and powerful. However, I use vBAdvanced at www.daniweb.com - it's mainly your choice. Both are very very simple to install - just follow the read-me files.

Ok, that sounds good. The only thing I'm completely lost about is using my current vB2 skins on vB3. Is there any way you can help me out with converting them?

Hello Dani. May I ask why you feel that vBIndex is more robust and powerful than vBAdvanced?

I'm not contradicting you, I just haven't heard much about vBIndex.

thanks.

I think dani is refering to vBa Homepage, but i may be wrong, vBa CMPS tends to be much more robust than the other options out there at the time, at least in my eyes.
Firefox: no, its not the end all solution, it has its own issues and in time it will be just as insecure as IE, when its hit Firefox 6, if it makes it that far. Oh, and AOL pays for it, incase you didn't know.

Microsoft & Windows: If you hate it so much, move to linux, or bsd, or anything else, stop complaning and move on.
Good starting places: Gentoo Novell SUSE Fedora Core Apple
