Help connecting Mac to a wireless router hardwired to PC

Currently, I have a Mac G4 and a PC hardwired to my wireless router which is connected to the cable modem. I am looking to move the Mac to a different room and connecting to the router wirelessly but keeping the PC hardwired. I'm a bit confused as to the hardware I might need for the Mac to keep it connected to the internet once moved to another room. I don't have a home network set up, and don't plan to share files between the machines. What kind of wireless card (airport??) do I need to get for this first generation G4? I don't think it has an airport card - any idea where to look? Would it just be easier (and cheaper) to run cable through the house?

THANKS
