Windows media player- Does not support file type!

My wmp was playing fine until a while ago... now it says does not support file type for ALL videos! what happened? I need it for a project!

Might be a silly question, but have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling it yet?

yeah i tried it and it did nothing... the weirdest part is it doesn't support .wma files!
