N5430 wont boot up

when i turn on the power button and seems to boot normally, but before it even gets to the windows screen and goes right into the options, to select safe mode, normal mode, etc. it does it everytime, does anyone know what is wrong with it? I hope its not the hard drive, i already had it replaced once like a year ago. please help

ive had this problem b4 but just start up in debugging mode thats what worked for me i dont know if it will work 4 u but try it

and what os do u have?

also my screen likes to flicker alot but it fixes it if i move it a little too maybe bad wire connection?>?

See if this link helps you out:

Look at the "Using the System Configuration Tool Method" under Windows 98/ME. That should be the fix you're looking for. Just uncheck the box it's telling you to check, if it's there.
