Function Description:

My client provides wireless Internet software technology and roaming services to ISPs and telecommunications companies around the world. The company has assembled a large and rapidly growing roaming system with over 5000 Hot Spot locations under contract and over 2100 live around the world. They also invented the world's most powerful software for discovering and connecting to hot spots and 3G wireless networks.

Description & Responsibilities:
# Understanding the business requirements in order to define project scope, deliverables and delivery commitments. Develop Statements of Work as needed.
# Develop project plans and ensure that project deadlines and deliverables are met according to time and budget constrains, and that the projects adhere and comply with Project Management Methodology.
# Drive project activities against plans, and develop and manage project status documentation and communications.
# Manage the scope of work, objectives, quality of deliverables, and other project management activities.
# As part of project status tracking and reporting, continuously assess project risk factors and recommend appropriate courses of action to mitigate.
# Facilitate collaboration across the organization and disparate functions.
# Successfully manage and prioritize projects using project planning techniques and software through all phases of the project lifecycle.
# Manage multiple projects at the same time.

Requirements:
# 4+ years working experience as Project Manager for IT/software projects
# Assume responsibility for driving and delivering multiple releases for cross-functional team
# Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred
# Proven track records in delivering large scale projects on schedule
# Strong project management skills, methodologies and analytical skills
# Ability to drive all aspects of a product through the entire life cycle
# Sound business judgement and ability to make data-driven decisions
# Strong ability to lead and motivate team members
# Diplomacy, tact and relationship building skills as well as ability to compromise
# Ability to create and deliver effective presentations
# Successful transition of the project to production support
# Demonstrated ability to understand in-depth technical aspects of software development
