hi ,
i am a final year computer engineering student,
i am searching for some ideas for my final year project , i am thinking of grid computing as one option where we can form a network of pcs over the internet and utilize ideal processors in the network.
when i searched for this on the net i came to know that if we have to process an application over the grid then the design of the application has to follow some standard(ie. it has to be designed in a manner in which it can be processed on multiple CPUs) , i wanted to know if we can make a normal application ,designed to run on a single PC , to run distributedly over the grid ie can we make an application (eg. a big 3d game ) , which won't run on a particular PC due to slow processor , run on it , utilizing other processors from the grid.
Please help me.
