Windows Media 10 playback problem!!!

Umm....so yeah well say im playin a song and i close the program the song keeps on goin and doesnt stop but then if i open WinMedia again its still there but if i press stop, well yeah it stops....this has happened b4 but it just stopped...its been 3days and it still hasnt plz help!!!
