cannot remove the program

I'm using XP, recently I had tried to remove the software (ULEAD PHOTOIMPACT
10 TBYB). But it failled. Its show me that.....

Installshield (R) Setup Launcher
Installshield (R) setup Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on
might be lost.

Could anyone help me to solve the problem. Thanks in advance.

Hi yknie,
It's not that unusual for "Install Sheild" and other program installers to malfunction when it come to removing a program from a Windows OS box. Try going to your control panel & using the "Ad / Remove programs" function to let Windows uninstall it for you.
If that fails.. then contact the programs' authors/website for assistance.
If that fails.. then find out where the program is installed (which folders) & remove it manually. You may also have to manually edit the registry (so make sure you back up the registry first). You could also choose a "restore" point before you installed the program which would do pretty much the same thing as far as the registry settings (only) goes.
If all else fails.. you could re-format & re-install Windows if the program really bothers you.
