Application Error

I get the following error msg. each time I close a browser page. Iexplore.exe Application error 'The instruction at OX034646c3 referenced in OX034646c3. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program.' Don't know what this means. Could it be a problem and if so how do I correct it?
